| Build Green... We care deeply about the environment. Every handmade stoneware sinks is made with at least 33% recycled content. Our Field Mouse glaze is 66% recycled glazes (see our About Us page for more in this). Each of our unique, ecologically friendly bathroom sinks is handmade in Asheville, North Carolina. Since each stoneware pottery bathroom sink is completely hand made, each can be tailored to fit the space you have in your bathroom or powder room. Custom Decoration... We can add a custom decoration or logo to the inside or outside of your sink, The paw print sink below is going to be used in a veterinarian clinic. |
| Stoneware Basins... Created in his distinctive style, Artist Edward Racicot, starts with his own blend of stoneware clay to make each unique bathroom sink by hand on the potters' wheel. Each stoneware basin is carefully crafted to insure drain holes will match plumbing fixtures after the firing process. Because these handmade pottery art sinks are made of stoneware clay, each is extremely durable. The versatility of the Craftsman style Underhill sink in the photo to the left, is evident as this unique pottery sink style can be a quite small vessel sink to a rather large vessel sink. Versatility continues with mounting the Underhill sink; it can be used as a vessel type sink, an under-mount or a self rimming sink, when ordered appropriately. |
| Small Spaces... Do you have a small space for your bathroom sink? We can make a unique, custom small powder room sink just for you. This will enabling you to maximize the use of your available space, without sacrificing beauty or functionality that you need in a hand-made sink. These unique small sinks are very popular in powder rooms, where space may be a premium. The Underhill Stoneware basin (shown right) can be made to be a surface mount, self rimming (shown) or an under mount pottery bathroom sink. We custom make these unique artisan sinks anywhere from 8 to 17 inches in diameter. Like all of our custom pottery sinks, they are made of high fire stoneware clay, making them very durable. At Vermont Art Sinks we create stunning stoneware pottery sinks as well as self rimming and under-mount basins. These one of a kind sinks are created using time-honored methods of craftsmanship (see our about us page for more on this). Simply put, we create beautiful functional art for your bath and bar. Our sink styles range from Old World - Craftsman style basins to Italian influenced modern, with seven different styles to choose from. While many of our sink styles have a distinctive Rustic / Early American to Craftsman flavor, some pieces are very Tuscan in style and design. We can create a one of a kind pottery art sink that reflects the style of the artist and the need of the homeowner. |

| Mounting Choices... The Uptown Stoneware vessel sink (left) and the Sarefire Stoneware sink (above) are both well suited to surface mounting and partially countersinking. Several of our unique bathroom sink styles are self rimming (drop in) sinks. The Underhill and Liberty style stoneware sinks can be made to be under-mount basins when ordered accordingly.
